Bischofliche Eitelsbacher Marienholz Riesling 2010

Bischöfliche Weingüter Trier is the Mosel’s largest riesling estate, encompassing 130 hectares of vineyards situated on premium sites along the river Mosel and its tributaries the Ruwer and the Saar. The main grape variety, of course, is riesling, covering 87% of the total wine-growing area. The fruity, elegant wines from the steep slopes of the three river valleys are individually fermented in a single wine cellar in Trier.

This one offers green apple fruit, high acidity, medium sweetness and good minerality.
