Tequilera La Gonzalena Anejo Tequila 750ml

Manuel Gonzalez started cultivating agave in 1965 after his family's land was devastated by a hurricane and he discovered that the wild agave plants had survived the storm. He began making small batches of tequila in 1977 and named it Chinaco after the warrior-farmers who defended Mexico during the French invasion of 1863. Today the distillery is run by his sons and they remain amongst the only tequila producers to also farm their own agave.

The Chinaco Anejo ages for 2 1/2 - 3 years in oak barrels and is meant for sipping in a snifter or on the rocks.
Bold and intense with aromas and flavors of citrus, pepper, chamomile, butterscotch, smoke and baked apples.
