Anchor Distilling Company Genevieve Genver Style Gin 750ml

The earliest gins —which came to be known as “genever” (or “Geneva gin,” or “Hollands gin,”) were invented by the Dutch in the 17th century.  Produced at San Francisco's Anchor Distillery using a grain mash of wheat, barley, and rye malts, which is distilled in a copper pot still, Genevieve is a result of the distillery's attempt to recreate one of these older gins. 
 

Unlike the more common London dry style of today, the Genevieve gin has a richer, creamier mouthfeel and a slightly sweet quality, while still packing big fresh juniper flavors.
