Glendronach Single Malt Scotch Whisky 12 Year Old
Legend has it that back in 1826, James Allardice set off to sell his
whisky in Edinburgh but all the pubs had all they could take.
Disheartened, while heading back to his hotel he was accosted by two
ladies of the night who wanted him to take them for a drink. Instead
he produced his ‘Guid GlenDronach’ whisky and they partook. He came
back to his hotel with a woman on each arm and the story spread like
wildfire. When the ladies left the next day, he gave them some whisky
to take with them. They shared with everyone they knew and soon
eveyone was asking for it at their local pubs. GlenDronach had
arrived!
Aged in sherry casks, the scotch is rich, creamy, silky-smooth. Warm, rich oak and sherry sweetness, full mouth feel, raisins and soft fruits. Spicy with medium length and a dry finish.
