Planted over 100 years ago, the Gut Hermannsberg estate today consists of a 30-hectare collection of vineyards all classified as Erste Lage. Erste Lage, or First Growth is a highly prestigious rank designating the vineyard sites as historically of the highest quality. This dry riesling is certainly a demonstration of this quality and a reflection of the steep, craggy and rocky land.
