La Battagliola Lambrusco Grasparossa di Castelvetro 2012
When in 1999, Alberto Salvadori inherited from his mother Maria the lovely farm of Piumazzo in the fertile countryside of Modena, he immediately thought of how he could honor her memory and remember her in a tangible way. He turned the farmland into a vineyard and began making Lambrusco from the Grasparossa grape. The Grasparossa variety makes the deepest colored, fullest flavored Lambrusco.
A vivid red color with fine bubbles. A dry, zesty wine with pleasant fruit and purposefully moderate alcohol to keep it light and fresh.
