Monte la Sarda Garnacha 2010
This wine is made from 50-year-old vines grown on the chalky clay soil vineyards around Lécera in Bajo Aragon in Northeastern Spain. It is a collaboration between Bodegas Leceranas and the prestigious winemaker Joan Mila that started in 2005. Nearby orchards and fields where the vines are cultivated are abundant with fruits, olive and almond trees. No oak treatment was added in order to preserve freshness and fruitiness. Medium-bodied with modest tannin and notes of blackberries, earthiness, dried spices and minerality.
Region: Spain/Bajo Aragon
Grape: Garnacha (Grenache)
